Grace Court

Grace Court is the first Social Welfare Department contract home operated by The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong Social Service through tender. In service since 2015, it provides 150 nursing-home-level places, including subsidized places, residential care service voucher places and non-subsidized places. Its quality services have received accreditation at the Excellent and Five-Star levels from the Hong Kong Association of Gerontology.

Guided by the principle “Love Makes a Home,” Grace Court combines gerontechnology with dementia-friendly spaces. A professional team of doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers and chaplains provides holistic physical, psychological, social and spiritual care. Three major service features include a person-centred independence model with rehabilitation exercises, refined soft meals and an autonomous living space; a musical care home supported by an in-house music therapist to relieve stress and stimulate the senses; and end-of-life care providing palliative treatment and support in a dedicated space where older people can say farewell with dignity alongside their families.

About the organization
